sup people,
i have a question:

i used my friends shocker a while ago, and i was thinking about the barrel condom. i didnt realize how sensitive his trigger was, so i rested my finger on it, and it went off while i was in the staging area, with the barrel condom on it. well....i thought barrel condoms are supposed to be able to take multiple shots. when it went off, the barrel condom like flew off but the ball didnt go far. how tight is the barrel condom supposed to be? if its too tight u cant fit it around ur gun. but if its too lose it will fly off like it did....so how do u set up ur barrel condom?

how can you shoot it off?

the back end of the barrel condom should be around your vert feed behind your hopper and the front should be around the barrel obviously

it obviously wasnt on properly, i dont really know how he put it on wrong

Why do tehy have barrel condoms anyway? why just use a plug? isnt a plug easier to take off and on than a condom?

well, i used a condom and i think its a lot safer because it cant really be shot off, most people with electros and extremely short triggers use them because the trigger is so short and one slip could fire multiple shots which would blast out the barrel plug on the first and knock out eyes with the rest.

they are required at most tournaments over barrel plugs.

mabye it wasn't tied on, or put on right..

it was on perfectly fine. it was on the barrel, and it went on the vert feed. seems to me the cord was a little too elastic.

the barrel condom should be on so tht the cord is pulled pretty tight and then tied

barrel condoms are definately much safer, barrel plugs can just be shot off. i have accidentally fired my old marker (bushy) with a barrel condom on (redz) and it worked fine, i didnt even notice that it went off til i got home. he must have put it on wrong or sumthing, or it was too loose . . . it should be around the front (:freak: ) and around the feed neck or back of the gun (if its one of those big ones, they dont seem as safe to me though) . . .
