What type of fittings am I supposed to use for my m98c?
Micro or Macro
I know it's the 1/8 inch one I want, but which name is associated with the 1/8?

Micro sucks ***. Use macro or steel-braided.

Microline isn't very good. The thin hose doesn't get good flow, and is rather weak when it gets cold. If you want new hose, go with either MACROline or SS braided hose. Either one is going to work fine if you set it up right.

I've always used steel braided hose. Havem't had any problems with it, so I don't see the reason to switch to macro line.
