I know the Macdev forum is really dead in all honesty but does it even have a mod or anybody that can contribute info on a regular basis? I know there are only like three or four of us on all of PBR that probably have Cyborgs, there may be more but they're keeping quiet about them.
I was just curious as to the existance of the Macdev forum as I can only post so much in there with info before I go over to PBN and start looming in the macdev forum there.

It doesn't have any mods.

If there's issues, PM the Supers. We can go and moderate any forum if need be.

Tabris - donate me a Cyborg to study ('04 Sonic would be fine.....) and I'll be more than happy to contribute. ;)

There's no issues I was just curious if it had a mod is all.
And nobody touches my Borg unless I'm no farther then five feet away from it. I love it... I wouldn't even trade it for your cheetah griped Angel, Uziel. Even if God himself came down to me and said 'give it up or you're going to hell'... I'd take my Borg to hell and back.

That's why I said I would settle for an '04 Sonic rather than your cherished '06.....
You wouldn't even want the Angel if I threw in the wonky Freak barrel?? :dodgy: You've got no soul.....

I don't like Angels. I heard four different ways on how to adjust the lpr pressure and what not; they don't seem user friendly too me. And if I ever owned a dual sleeved marker it would be a Viking... not an Angel. :P

*pops out of nowhere* I'll take it. Yeh the macdev forum does seem kinda dead, funnily enough with the money I've spent combined on my Ion I could've had a 05 'borg by now.

Increase pressure = add shim, reduce pressure = remove shim. Shims are fiddly, but not complicated (I have the JDS LPR now anyway, so I just turn the adjuster.....)
If by four ways, you mean balancing the LPR pressure, operating pressure and dwell, WDP (much like AKALMP with the Viking) generally suggest leaving the LPR pressure alone, maybe dropping it a little after the marker has worn in. Most adjustments are made from the inline regulator. It's one of the reasons that WDP continue to use the shim adjustment on the LPR - to discourage people from fiddling with it!

Yeah, I heard shims and I heard adjusting like a regular lpr and all sorts of crazy stuff and I could never get a straight answer. But at least with the Borg I can go to town with it after a few adjustments to the Glad and lpr. Though the Glad is backwards because you have to screw it out to increase pressure, turning it in will reduce it.
Go figure but it's sweet and it rips. My friend was walking the trigger with ease and he uses an A5 and he doesn't really walk triggers so I was impressed he was able to do it. But heck it was a windy day and we were shooting a tree probably about 30-35 feet away and all the balls were hitting within 6" of each other. So I can just imagine what I can do on a nice day with no wind.

That's due to the difference between a gas through piston design regulator, and a pin valve controlled one - the adjustments end up being reversed.

Well, I would never own an Angel unless I was forced to by a sponsor. Until that day... Bob Long Legion and Macdev Militia all the way. :D

i say, we make tabris a mod, or an agent. but thats just my 2 cents. hes helped me before, and hes even been so kind as to make me hellbent on buying an 06 borg. but thats not the point. would you guys be able to make tabris an agent? he could patrol the macdev forum, and i know that hes knowledgeable with alot of other topics too, like hoppers (hes got at least 1 sticky), or tanks (again, sticky).
also, what are the credentials for becoming an agent? then after being an agent, what does it take to become a mod or a super mod. do you guys get paid?

I'll take a PBR jersey as payment?
Thanks for the vote of confidence though Birdy. I'm trying hard to help people out but I'm still learning too. Everyday I learn something new and I do my best to help the mods and users out.

Here's another question though, is there an automatic thread deletion protocal in effect? I noticed some of the threads got nuked, including the 06 Cyborg Tech one I had posted.

The threads are there, but in the background - they can still be found if people search for them. They aren't deleted, it's just that there is a time limit set so that only "current" threads remain visible. Threads that haven't been posted in for a while get archived.
To keep them on the page, whether anyone posts in the thread or not, you need to request one of the Supers to Sticky it. Just ask, and if having viewed the info in the thread they feel that it is beneficial to other users, I'm sure they would be only too happy to do so.

Hate to bring it up again but is there any chance of somebody covering the macdev forum on a regular basis? The forum is growing rapidly and I invited Smoke from PBK and James from Macdev to join and post to lend a hand. But they can only provide technical help and I think we might need a mod at the rate we're going. And Smoke showed up today but so far no James but we're falling into place slowly.

I've been in there to look out for trolls and such, but not to post as I'm not familiar with the technical workings of the markers.

Mind moving that 'E2' thread then that's kind of been sitting for a week? I still can't figure out how that kid thought Macdev would deal with autocockers.

MacDev did use to make the Sonic Autococker, and of course the Sonic E-Racer, but that used the Race frame rather than the E-Blade.
However, quite rightly, not the place for an E-Blade question, even if it were on a Sonic 'Cocker.
