barrel plugs go inside the barrel
barrel condoms go on the outside of the barrel. its just like putting a sock over the barrel.
barrel plugs and condoms are so you dont accidently shot someone when your gun when your not playing.

A barrel condom is considered safer if you use a marker with a sensitive trigger ie. electro. Because with plugs one shot can knock it out of the barrel and make it unsafe. With eletro's if dropped they can fire multiple times so the barrel plug would be usless.
A barrel condom doesnt get shot off and catches all balls. So making the marker safe.
