If they are used that is too much. More like 60-80 depending on how much they have been used

That's too much for the Prolite. It's not too bad of a deal for the 98c. The 98c is the one I would take, but try to have him lower his price by at least $10.

Yes, $65 is a very good deal if it's in good condition. (I stress the 'good condition')

he said it shoots great and has just normal "wear and tear"

Give it a once-over with the intention of buying it. Make sure it looks good and shoots well. It's sounds pretty safe though. Tippys are hard to mess up.

the guy who owns it works in a pb pro shop a couple blocks away from me. so i would imagine if anything was wrong with it, i could just take it back and get it fixed for free

No worries then. Go ahead and buy it.

upon further review of the gun, the person emailed me again, this is what he wrote:

yes i still have it. the only thing remotely wrong
with it is the saftey moves very easily so i may have
to do something with that... other than that it works
great.
dave

is it still worth the 65?

Yes, the safety can do that in a 98c. It's not a big deal and can be fixed if needed.
