Is it worth it for Thermal goggles, or should I just find a thermal insert, or spray or something?

Some people use a single lens in thier goggles and they never fog, but i guess i'm not that lucky. I used a single lens in my spectras once when i needed a last second replacement for my thermal which was cracked. It fogged and thats somthing i'll never want to happen again, now i just keep a spare thermal on hand. Anyways i'd pay the extra just so that one time dosen't happen to you.

I would not play without them. How are you going to be the best you can be, if you can't see 20% or more of the things around you? Also ,what are you going to do if they fog up? Lift them up to clean them! You didn't want that eye anyways, right! Spend the extra money!

I've got Skul bone thermal goggle from Diablo. I payed bout $50 bucks forem, and have never had to leave a game, or been shot in a game due to the fact that my gogs fogged up. I've played with my buds x-fire mask before, and if it hadn't been his i would have thrown it away, cause the first game in i had to leave cause i had no forward vision watsoever. For an extra $20 bucks get the thermal.

if you've ever played a game with your gogs so horribly fogged that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face, then you know the thermos are worth the extra bucks, but it's not like they cost an arm and a leg. Locally I can get them for about $20 to $25 bucks, and cheaper than that on the Internet.

unless you play in florida all the time you need thermals. We play in cold cold weather and regular gogs just fog up as soon as you start running. I have a flex ize mask and the themal 260 lends is awesome.

Thanks a lot everyone, I bought a nice used SCOTT pair for about $20.00 on ebay the other night. Thanks for all of your help. Now I just need to persuade my friend to spend an extra $15.00 and go thermal. Thanks again.

thermos are good but not worth the money. You can always buy a v-force mask which costs 20 bucks and will not fog up at all. I even brought it into my bathroom while taking a really hot shower and the lense did not fog up at all, did not even get any condensation either. V-force masks are really good and they do not cost a whole lot at all.
