I warn you: this is my first time here. My brother (an avid paintballer) passed away in Oct. 2005. One of the very last things he purchased for himself was a Dye Angel Ironman gun - black & chorome. Well, he never got to use it and it's in my possession, but I don't know what to do with it. Enclosed is a picture.

Play your heart out with it. It's what he would have wanted.

Oh, and never, ever, EVER get rid of it.

My condolences for your brother. If you haven't played paintball, I suggest trying. If you have, then keep the marker and either use it or keep good care of it. Dye Ironman Angels may be valuable someday, because how likely is it for Dye to make an Angel for the Ironmen.

Anyways, if you're here to stay, welcome. If not, good luck.

Keep it forever. Learn it inside out. Give it the best life it could possibly expirience. Mow faces with it. I'd get a tank cover for it if I were you though.

I've never seen or heard of one of those. Don't just let it collect dust and value, play your heart out with it.

sorry to hear about your bro.. I'd agree with the rest of the folks in this thread, learn to play (which isn't hard) and use it every chance you get. That's a beaut of an old skool angel... use it well

Keep it and play with it, you'll find out why your brother was so avid about the sport.

You WILL get hooked on this sport, it's like crack, only more expensive. : )

It's going on 2 years since i've played... as soon as I have money i'm picking up an Ion or something...I get the urge everyday to light something up.

Shouldn't have said anything. Expect your PM box full in 30-40 mins.

Anywho, I am sorry to hear about your loss. Whatever you choose, take good care of that gun, it's an important link to your brother's legacy and an important part of his life. If you play with it, play hard. If you don't, then polish it every day.

Being a girl should have no bearing whatsoever on your decision on whether or not to play paintball. Only trying the sport will enable you to make your decision.

Play with it until you get something else, then display it. My cousin died Nov '05 and we put all his paintball gear in a display case in his room.
