I play in a field or the woods. No paintball places anywhere near me and the ones that or romotely close only play stock class, which makes the gun i have useless.

Thunderbay for outdoor rec play and speedball (in Tampa) and Florida Paintball Center in Largo for Speedball only. Also looking forward to visiting some other fields in Central Florida this year: Waynes World in Ocala (they host a lot of big games and 24 hour games) and Extreme Assault in Orlando.

Good Idea Monkey ... I really wanted to go to the scenario game Wayne's World hosted the first week of Dec. Supposedly was a really big deal _ all the major manufacturers sponsored it, hundreds of people attended. I haven't checked their Web site lately to see what they've got scheduled for this year, but when I do I'll let you know.

I play at T2, Arnold, Origam (indoor fields Montreal Area)in the winter. Summer play behind my place and Local fields including Tigerstripe and Altona.

what are 24 hour games? 1 game that lasts a day? that would be a real bummer if you got out...

you dont' really get out in 24-hour scenario games. You're allowed to come back on the field after a certain amount of time (15-45minutes) plus they have "medics" on the field ... if you hit and call out, and medic makes it to you in, say 90 seconds, you don't have leave the field. Scenario games are geared toward continuous play. They are very well organized and structured. I'm waiting for some to roll around my way. I really want to play in one.

Electrichead, have you checked WARPIG's calendar in their Recball section. they usually have links to who's putting on Scenario and Big games. Big games are 8 and 12 hour versions of Scenario games.

in 24 hour games, are people still shooting at each other at 2 and 3 in the morning??

I'm not sure Mew ... they do run "missions" all night long and I've heard that some players bring night vision scopes and goggles. There's a good FAQ on scenario games on WARPIG. sorry, i don't have the URL.

Yah usually they play until around 2 am. At the 24 hour game I was at they had people wear glow sticks (different colors for different teams), but lots of people ditched them so it was pretty lame!

At Wayne's World's big game in December, I think they gave away something like $12,000 in prizes. Anyone know how they award those?

None of em ever happen around here, and i cant do tourney cause i dont have a team or the 100 buck entry fee.

The one's i've seen on the Web are $50 to $60 to register, plus you have to buy field paint (no walk on paint). here's two sites that can give you a lot of info on Scenario games. Warpig's Rec section has some good stuff about what to expect and a good FAQ. Mack's Extreme Sportz is sponsoring 13 Scenario games across the country this year. they have a calendar for each game and info on how to register. I hope one is near you. in 24 hour games, you are allowed to take breaks to sleep. Acutally, it's an option. If you dnot' wanna go out at a certain time, it's ok. i was in one and Night paintball was relaly fun. My sniper team(me and my spotter) did this one thing. we were about 20 feet apart, and when my spotter founhd a good opportunity for an elimination, he used this portable spotlight to light up the opponent, and i took him out. this was a reallygood strategy b/c while they are concentrated on my spotter, which is behind cover, i'm 20 feet away taking guys out. So in answer to your question, you don't get booted off if you don't play at night and you do take breaks

i usually play at Anne ARundel Paintball Park, Action Zone, or the newly opened field by Team Image, Diamond Ridge outdoor paintball park. Action ZOne is run by the Malashzweski brothers, and Diamond Ridge is run by Opie. Both of htem are Hella nice.

hehe not reallly...i live out near Columbia....which is like 5 minutes from the beltway if you take 29. to 70 to 695. To get to Diamond Ridge it's like 5 minutes, to get to Anne Arundel its 20 minutes to get to Action ZOne it's 20 minuts.

I'm not sure how they arrange the teams, but I think you can register as a team. As much as I want to go, I may have to hold off on the April game. I'll let you know soon.

I play at the combat zone in Oroville Ca.3 fields one speedball field,Also play in Forest Ranch Calif.$ out door fields.And I play in Gridley Calif. indoor speed ball.I play woods games,Also every 2 weeks I do a seek and distroy one. Theres 25 on 25 for about 6 hours.Also do a jungle one down by 2 diffrent rivers.So I kinda spread out in North California

I have a field that we p[lay oin thts preety sweet. Its 100 yards long, and like 50 wide, but its in a raven, so the sides go up to cliffs, A the top of th cliffs, which are like 150 feet high, the distance is 200 feet. Its a great field, we play rght down the middle. We hae like 10 on ten games, and tis great

yo nem...hogback is a nice woods place. hogback and pevs are totally different. pevs is more man made, sup air, "concept fields" (like da fields in da movie "push" ...da ones dat look like barrels with ridges) and also hyperball fields. its a great place...but so it hogback. i love hogback....nice big wood fields. i live about......20 min. from hogback and about 30 min from pevs...http://www.hogback.net http://www.pevs.com
