It's pretty cool looking, but it probably wont perform any better than a normal 98. Still a cool paintjob though.

Ok, so let me get this streight. A tippy 98 with a J&J is the same as an Icon Z?
I am confused. I already said i am new didnt know the whole rules thing. I hate how people are. Thanks for the ones who can be mature.

Thanks NOFXc98, but how is it not better. i dont understand? Everyone laughs when i say i have a Icon Z and i should get a Tippmann because they are nice, then i get it and people laugh and say its the exact same. I thought Tippmann were more durable and the J&J had good accuracy over the stock.

THe only upgrade you made is :
1. You shoot a tippy not a 32* gun
2. TIppmanns are more durabl

Tippmanns are more durable, but only if you run them over. With a car, you just got a gun that will have the exact same performnace as your old. The reason why people laugh at 32* stuff is because the rebel sereis pretty much sucked all there is to suck.

I know that skill is 90% but it sure as hell makes it easier having a tippmann. From my experience Tippmans have a better range(And yes the velocity is the same) and they are far more accurate.

.. cant get an RT since its a M 98 .. not custom .. id say do some mods to the treigger to make it as light as possible and then try to find a 2x trigger .. then buy a cyclone for it .. i love myne ... and a regulator or expansion chamber couldnt hurt .. and get your tanks a/s if u play in cold weather

Nothin much you can do, since its a M98. Either get on the dremel and mod it til it fits an Rt, or do a really light trigger mod. Other than that get Hpa or just stick with what you have.

I seem to remember Tippmann offering an M98-98 Custom conversion... Maybe you could contact them and ask about it. Just make sure that you clearly specify that you wish to keep the stock reciever halves, as they are special edition.

I bought it because at my age and money status i cant afford big upgrades or guns anyway so i got what i liked. And its Limited Edition because of what makes anything Limited Addition. Its "LIMITED", they only put out about 500

i have heard about these m98. tippmann made one batch of m98 in kameleon to comepar it to the black. the desided not to go with the new colors, so i guess they are selling them off. there is a guy on ebay selling 200 of them for $96 each plus $20 shipping.

Hes defensive because you guys are making fun of him for something he likes. I have a 98, there awesome, and I would be happy with Icon's 98. I also have an Icon(E) so I know where hes coming from with the whole money issue.
