I have an ion and a scepter barrel kit and want to know what the best paint would be. I know i can shoot practically anything out of a barrel kit, but for some reason i can't shoot premiums. That leaves Marbs or Evil paint. (Thats all my paintball store sells.) In your opinion whats the most accurate and not going to break in my barrel, but on people? (Woodsball). Thanks alot.

I've always had really good results with evil. Buy a small bag of each and try them out.

yeah thanks. I've used marbs and was happy with them, the only thing is that evil is a little cheaper and reviews on it have said it is way better than marbs.

But take in to account that marbs have been around MUCH longer than evil. I'm happy with the Mid evil but the higher grade evil is even better, but I don't think it's worth the price jump.

I second that. Better than Marbs in my experiences.

I like chronics too, but my paintball store doesn't sell them. I dont want to order paint offline because they'll break on the way here. I will check my field for them. Who knows maybre they have them. I just know that the store by me carries rps paint. Obviously I"m not going to use Stingers at games. I've had really bad luck with premiums. That leaves the evil and marbs i havent used evil yet, and i liked marbs.

Just to let you know, many online stores have a broken paint warranty. If the paint is broken on arrival, you will get new cases. Most of the time, broken paint isn't a problem, and the online prices are generally much better. I'm ordering as much paint as I can off the Internet.

i have always love Draxxus/Diablo anything
PMI Stingers are cheap and good
In my experience:
1. RPS/PMI Marbalizers
2. Zap Chronic (Orange)
3. many kinds of hard, big, viscous, heavy winter paint
4. many kinds of thick-shell match grade tournament paint
5. all others - many kinds of cheap "rental" paint
...you need only Marbs.

Absolutely marbs. My friend lent me like 400 once and I was surprised with how accurate they are. Nice bright fill, and the shell is really hard but Breaks on people.

i saw that you said that the paint would break on the way to your house if you buy them online...I bought some cheap paint, and had very few breaks in them(mabey one)...If you get a trusted online company, the paint should come intact. If you do decide to order online, make sure to have it sent UPS or FedEx Ground, because if you go air there is a greater chance of them breaking.
If you think about it...They travel to the warehouse that they are stored in or to the store your buying them from, so if they made it there, they should make it to your house.

Only thing is though, yuou guys dont have a clue how merciless ups is. I know ups men. They throw all the boxes around in the trunks or back of their vans. If that's paint, it would be smushed. It might not happen all the time, but if the factory checks it, and its fine, then they know you are bullcrapping them, or ups broke it. Would a company still send you another caae of paint because of ups's fault?

i've done it once, and it worked great
but the field i play at has some of the best prices in the state, so i don't really need to order online

Of the few paintballs I have tried Marbs are definetly the best. (though the rest of the balls I ahave used have sucked horribly) I got them with a coupon.

ups/fedex will replace your case of paint( or reimburse u?) if it breaks in the truck
shipping by air is not that unsafe but less than ground
if one- 6 balls break, no biggie youll just have to clean the balls off

well if you get a mail man or ups driver like mine that drive like they are late to be be laid then i wouldnt trust them 5 minutes with anything. they throwed my new gun on the porch thank god it was wrapped good and snug. plus if you live in a bumpy road with holes paint could bounce alot and break.

ive got an ion, and i havnt chopped a single ball yet, and every paint ive used is accurate up 50-80ft, i use cheaper paints like Scorch, Big Ball, and ZAP Recreational, like i said i dont have much problems with chopping and the accuracy is pretty good, but i would first buy small amounts of different kinds of paint and see wat you like best. When it all boils down, youll find its personal preference!
