Here at least, regular Mods can only edit posts and do other Mod functions within their own forums. (I'm one of the Mods over Religion/Philosophy and Rec Talk, and so my "powers" are limited to those forums.)

SuperMods can edit posts and take care of things in ANY forum here... Beyond that, i'm not sure... Hey...Killer Kat...got more info?

Well we generally try to let the mods of the specific forums handle there own business, but if they are no where to be found and something comes up then we will edit it or fix the problem. We just don't like stepping on toes if we don't have to. That and we also have the ability to ban people as well if need be. Thats about it, to my knowledge. That or I am just forgetting things, but that is the gist of it.

im guess im lucky cause at the place im at i was the only mod for awhile and i could go to any forum and ban people and now we have another person and we r both super mods
