Bought a 68/3000 PMI wrapped tank, now scared

The other day I got myself a 68 / 3000 carbon fiber wrapped PMI tank from my local shop for my A5. I asked the guy for a metal one and he was like its gonna be too heavy n this ones better so w/e i got the fiber one for $150 tried it out and my gun shoots great. Now some people are telling me that its super sensitive and its going to explode if i scratch it against something. I dont want to die and i dont want to break an expensive tank or die AND break an expensive tank in the process although I would care less about the loss of the tank if i was dead.

Anyway if i get a cover for it will it be ok? Or will i still need to worry about getting blown up. I dont play hardcore woods ball, just rec stuff at the local fields with walk-ons. HeLP!

people are silly, they wouldent sell a potentially dangerous product in these lawsuit ridden times. So, yes, a tank cover will be fine

They exagerated, carbon fiber tanks are not so fragile. Unless you throw against a stone it wont explode. And as J-man said a tank cover will be very useful.

yeah just stay away from hard pointy objects like rocks and you will be fine with a cover

You could throw it against a rock and it wouldn't explode. Unless it was full of air and you threw it so hard the whole top part came off and it went flying. Just buy a tank cover for it and it will be fine. The cover will protect the tank from getting little scratches and dings.
