dude ... your gonna get alot of dumb hoes in here that hate Brass eagle guns ... im not one of them, i think you should go with an avenger just because its cheaper and performs the same... but if your going for looks i think the genesis looks a little better...

get a Genesis. I have one, it works better than what I thought. The only upgrade you should get is a new barrel, like a teardrop or something that will fit it

I have used both the avenger and genesis. The genesis performs a little better (not much) but seems more durable. But i wouldnt bother with either if i were you get a low-end spyder off the internet they are much better value, they perform better, and they wont bread down on you.

Well, out of those two guns I would go with the Genesis. It does have an expanson chamber that is also a great grip. (I dont have a Genesis but my freind did have an avenger) With my friends Avenger you can really bend the stell braided hose because it is so exposed. Now one of my friends has a busted hose on his gun! But, If I were you I would not go with either because those guns are preatty much made my Brass Eagle and my friend has now gone through 3 Avengers now! That proves that they dont last and are not durable.
the genesis revelation and avenger are the same if you take expansion chamber off genesisand volumizer off revelation they are the same.I would personally recomend a JT excellerator 4.0.$10 bucks more then avenger about $40 less than genesis and #10 bucks less then revelation.Get one at www.paintballgear.com for $110 on sale.It already comes with expansion chamber and all the upgrades you need on it.I've had mine for a month and i havent broken a ball yet.you dont even need a new barrel. And there is nothing wrong with it that i have experienced with it yet.

Well my I know of 2 people that I play with who user Avengers and the seem to be a solid gun. I dont know too much about the genesis but I've only heard bad things about it. So in conclusion I'd say go with the Avenger and go to your local wal-mart and buy a $35.00 Viewloader barrel.

I'm not gun bashing, I'm helping... I wouldn't buy either marker. They both have that plastic frame and my friend bought an avenger that had a part WELDED in upside down. I prsonally would lean more towards a tippmann model 98 custom or a Spyder, or if you go that route, WGP's BOSS line of blowback semi's look good.

Green Commander,
if you havent bought a gun already i hope you have come to the conclusion not to buy either the genesis or the avenger. Most of these people probably have been playing paintball longer than you and almost EVERY1 is telling you to get either a spyder, JT 4.0, or a tippmann 98 custom and ignore the BE's and Vl's all together. So if i were you i would listen to them.

I used to have a Avenger, I bought it cause I was a newbie, but not as much of a newbie as Noggins_1500. Anyway my first 1 broke the i got a new one and it broke also, my friend has a Genesis it works kinda good (for a newbie gun) but I say get a Tippmann, not only are they real durable but you can upgrade petty well everythin on them, so listen to every1 else and buy a Spyder, Piranna or a Tipmann (like I did) it will be the best thing you will ever do.:D
