Are J+J Ceramic barrels good? (The $40 ones?) I might get one today. I need some feedback.

just so you know, both this thread, and the one about paint shoulda been posted in the barrel/paint section of the boards. Telling ya so you wont be surprised if they get moved.
the J&J Ceramic is a really good barrel for the pricerange that it is in. about the only thing that really outperforms it is the CP 1-piece, and maybe the Evil Driver. For one piece barrels in that price range.
Yeah, they do self-clean, but that doesn't mean clean like running a squeegee thru it. You'll still need to do that, if you get a break or two. But pointing the barrel down, and running 3 or 4 shots through it will get you back up and running close enough. You'll still wanna runn a squeegee through it once you get off the field.
also, they are 688 bore, so some of the bigger paint won't work well.

why don't you read the reviews, there are hundreds of them made
For my spyder, the J&J ceramic was the best I had ever bought. It's not the greatest looking, but it performed better than any I've used. I wept the day I sold it.
