I have had my ratchet break 4 times sense I put my e-grip in. Dose any one know why this is happening.

How much paint have you put through it, how many cycles have you put on it? What mode are you using, and what ROF? Is the Cyclone QEV'd? Which board do you have installed? Do they break at random or does it seems like after a while one just dies and you need another?

My guess is that you've got the ROF way up and are shooting/dry firing a lot. You're just wearing the ratchets out.

Also check the bottom of the feed housing to make sure that there is a little 'A' stamped on it. If it isn't there it's a manufacturer's defect and you need to call Tippmann and they'll take care of it.

I'm surprised that no one in the after market has come up with a bigger beefier ratchet, a lot like all of the aftermarket Halo drive cones that popped up.
