Quick question guys, what kind of attachment for drops does the promaster have? I am shooting a tippy 98c right now, and am buying all the upgrades for it that I will be able to move over to the promaster, my next gun. If I bought a drop for the tippy, would I be able to move it over? Or is the screw alignment different, or what?
I'm looking at a small to med drop, if that helps.
Thanks in advance!

Yes it will work, only spyder drops or mounts will not work.

I would suggest just getting a mount, it lowers the profile and gives you much better form, if anything a small drop. But I would get a CP drop or mount, they make good stuff.

if you're looking for an on/off, see if you can find a psycho ballistics med/small drop...you should be able to find them for a decent price  but their quality isn't the best, so bewarned

i can understand why you would want a drop on a tippy, since they're kinda long guns. lol i put a HUGE drop on mine, it was so big my steel hose was completely vertical in order to get from the gun to the ASA. but when you get your PM you'll probly find that a unimount or rail will work better, the PM is a much smaller gun so it doesnt need a drop, and drops really arent good for your form. they dont allow you to properly shoulder the gun and therefore they give you a less stable shooting platform. if you were to shoulder your gun correctly with a drop your hopper would stick up more, so you would have to tilt the gun to compensate, but then your tank would stick out the other side more, etc. its just good to have a shorter setup, not a taller one, which is what you would have if you got a drop. I started out with drops and since i got a unimount a few years ago ive never gone back to drops.

tippmanns take the same rails/drops/ASA's etc that Promasters do so compatibility is not an issue.

I'm looking at a Trinity Paintball on/off drop, when I get my promaster, I can just remove the on/off and screw it back on!:)
I found a site with the Trinity Paintball Pro Drop On/Off for $34 + shipping, I'll be getting that as soon as I can get some spare cash. (btw, the drop is 2" drop, 4" forward)
