Hey anyone work at their local field I just got hired at the second largest indoor field in all of Canada a few days ago. Damn I hate getting shot while reffing.
We only take 1-2 refs on to the field per game since it is not very large or anything and one game I told everyone, "THIS IS SPEEDBALL THERE ARE NO BUILDINGS OR UPSTAIRS DO NOT SHOOT AT US WE WILL BE IN THE BUILDING UP THERE" Game starts paint starts raining on me and the other ref we start screaming STOP SHOOTING AT THE REFS!!! for the whole 15 minute game we could not pop out and watch the field as it would have led to at least 30 bloody welts. Some guy called for a paintcheck the other ref with me screamed YOUR HIT OFF THE FIELD, hehehe without even popping up lol
