ok, this this my problem, i got a tippmann 98 custom and i install a new valve spring on it so it wouls shot stronger BUT if i do some rapid fire with my stock trigger i get shots lke a R/T or a e-grip, because some how it go like this, bam___bam___bam___bam.bam.__bam.bam...... just like some kind of 2 SHOT BURST why is that posible in a stock trigger?
question: how is it possible to get some 2 shots burst with no tigger upgrates?
this is not the tippmann with the R/T installed but this gun does have the Cyclone System installed.

Ima n00b to paintball but all i can guess is that it is feeding 2 balls instead of one when that happens.....thats my best guess. Try a normal hopper which is about 3 bucks and see how it shoots. If it still has the problem then call tippmann.

to strong of spring and not enough CO2 pressure perhaps u know how the gun works rite the CO2 fires the paintball out and fires the bolt backward where it catches on the latch for the trigger if you don't have enough CO2 pressure (wen ur outa CO2 it "farts") only CO2 fluxuates in pressure some times it will have enough and some times it will not have enough, and if the spring is to strong it will just barly keep the bolt from goin on to the latch holding it back causeing it to fire twice or w/e till it manages to get back far enough. im not exactly sure if thats the problem. or your bolt latch is sticky and it won't pop back up quick enough to grab the bolt try puttin some oil on that and see if it helps
Thats all i can think of at the momment i hope u get it figured out

Your new spring is too strong. It is not being compressed enough by the rear bolt and as a result your valve is not spiting out enough CO2 to recock the gun every time. To fix it I would put the springs back the way they were. If I am understanding you corectly if you ever try to fire that thing with paint in it, it's going to chop like crazy. Due to the fact that the bolt is not making a full cycle.
