View Full Version : E Grip/ E Bolt with the flatline?

I'm looking at buying a new Tippmann custom Pro / E Grip / ACT and want to ask any other Flatline users if they have run into problems. Seems that the ROF and the FL barrel "might" be a problem, and I'd rather know about it before buying.
Just keeping the flatline on the old marker for woods, and using the new marker for the speed/hyper/air is an option, but I'd like to keep it on if possible.
Thanks in advance

We have a flatline sticky. For speedball, the flatline is 100% useless.

Thanks for the link, but that thread doesn't display on the main index and hasn't had a post on it since October, '05.
Good info thread, but doesn't really pertain to my question.
My experience with speedball and a flatline has been different than yours, but I conceed that my JJ Ceramic is better for the short distances involved.

If your J&J works better for speedball, why are you even considering the flatline? The added range does nothing on a speedball field where you can already shoot from one end to the other.

The increased ROF will not cause a problem unless you have poor paint or something. I experience very few barrel breaks with good paint.
