What's the basic theory of operation for the 'borg? (Compared to other markers, entirely unique?)

I've heard it compared to an impulse and viking. To be honest, Id like some enlightenment also

Cyborgs are unique in the fact they use a manifold system where as others using airlines. The 04/05 and Sonic Cyborg still use a manifold but only have one airline connected to the noid to supply air to the ram. The 06 Cyborg doesn't have any airlines, though I haven't confirmed it yet as I haven't taken apart the grip from my Cyborg yet... I have a 'if it's not broke don't fix it mentality'.
Not only that but there is no front block to speak of honestly, if you remove the lpr the lpr spring and spacer will come out and reveal the valve system inside. Removing the lpr opens up the entire ram tube essentially and you will be able to remove everything front to back very easilly. Everything is streamline and extremely simple. The way the Cyborg is designed makes it very air effecient, smooth, and it hardly has any kick to it. And it also has the fastest cycling currently of any marker out there at 46 bps, this has been tested by Tag Sports and cycled 34 bps with paint before breaks started to occur.

Could you repeat that? I have something crazy in my ear.
Thanks for the info Tabris, I'm trading for an 05 with tadao, I looked all over and could not find a wealth of information on these guns. PBN's FAQ was as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
I have a few questions.
Do different manifold preform differently? I've seen a few aftermarket manifolds. Do they make any aftermarket frames for Cyborgs and will my PM5 grips fit on the Cyborg? Is the guage onm the side of the gun for lpr or hpr pressure?

I know the 04/05 and Sonic Cyborgs can use aftermarket grips like Hybrid and Trinity for example, as long as you get the right style. 06 Cyborgs currently really can't use aftermarket grips because the new grips are taller then what is out there. Macdev is making some new ones though to address a problem with the jewel popping out of the current grips.
And if you check PBK they have the different manifold systems and it'll tell you what they'll fit. Also, check the Cyborg marker itself and read up what they have posted, I believe they point out a few things that the Gen 3 will have compared to a Gen 2 so you may not need to buy a new manifold/subplate.

I just created a FAQ for MacDev. It is located here (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?t=360970).
