Hi,
While I'm fairly new to Paintball, I was thinking of upgrading my airsystems a bit.
I was thinking of puting an airguerilla regulator on my 20 oz. CO2 Tank and use it in conjunction with the CP 2k5 On/Off ASA adapter with a CP dropforward. My gun is a Spyder E-99 Avant. I was also considering getting an anti-siphon tube to make my air work a bit cleaner with my gun hopefully boosting performance a bit.
Do you guys think this is a good idea?
Thanks in Advance,
Woomba

Drop= bad.
Rail= good.
Unimount= good.
Drop= bad, in case you missed it the first time.
If you're going to buy a nice reg, buy a Palmer stabilizer for your imagine, those things are built to handle Co2. If you ever buy HPA, it'll run smoothly on that as well.
The a/s is never a bad idea if you have to run Co2.
Just make sure you don't spend more than a HPA tank costs unless you're forced to use Co2.

What are Rail and Unimounts?

Make sure your E-99 is LP before you do this. Meaning you will need a high-flow valve and a LPC would help also. MAKE SURE IT'S LP OR IT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE CP. It will however work with the Palmers, so go for that instead.

The Guerrilla Air tank regulator is designed to be used as part of an air system, not with CO2. It would not be threaded to accept an anti-syphon tube.

If I wanted a High Pressue On/Off ASA...what would you guys recommend? Also, should i get a regulator for my CO2, or only an anti-siphon tube?

New Designz make a good on/off ASA with a built in purge system.
You would not get the maximum benefit from a regulated CO2 set up unless you also modified your marker to run at a lower pressure. While your marker is running at a high pressure, your best bet would actually be to switch to an air system with a high pressure output.

High flow's are needed for Spyder valves if you want to run a regulator on it. Some regulators would work, but most require you to run at a LP.

so why are drop forwards bad?

If your drop forward is longer than necessary, it moves your bottle too far forward, requiring you to bend your wrist unnaturally, and cramp your stance.

They also add vertical profile to your gun, making a larger target.
