i was thinking ( I am a newbie), an anti-syphon is meant to keep the liquid in your gun, but an expansion chamber collects the liquid... so don't you just get one or the other... If so, what is cheaper... (i have a m98). Also where do you get an anti-syphon installed?

Anti -siphon is a tube inside of your co2 tank attached to your pinvalve. So when your tank is screwed onto your marker,The end of the tube in your tank will be pointingup towards the sky.Wich will keep the liquid from getting into your marker. It can be installed by most paintball shops for around $10.00.

An x-chamber keep liquid out of your marker by letting the CO2 exspand inside of it wich then turns into the gas form of CO2, Wich is what your marker needs. They can cost about $35 to $65 dollers.

All you really need is the anti-siphon tube installed in your tank!!

Yeah, if you add an Exp cjhamber and then a regulator, you'll have to get rid of the exp, cuz it screws with the pressure teh reg puts out. Anti-syphon and if you've got the money, reg.

Ebonclaw: actually, if you use Co2 on a reg., it could mess it up (the o-rings). FYI...the guy a few posts above me is correct, in most cases, an anti-siphon is really all that's needed...or an x-chamber w/o an anti-siphon.

What O-rings does it mess up? I have had any problems running anti-siphoned CO2 through a reg. Jay
