Close Calls

Have you had any close calls to major injury?

I was at Toledo Indoor Paintball, and it was 8 on 8. I took a sweet spot at the + I hid there long enough without shooting to get someone parallell with me, reloading... Bwahaha right in the knee. Another person pops out after i shoot the kid in the knee, and I start doing timed shots... No luck... I sit back against the + and Grab for my grenade..ITS STUCK!!! I try harder and all the sudden, he swoops over facing on me. I let out a squeak, and Get hit 7 times... pack pack pack pack pack oww oww pack pack owwwwwwwwww...

The first 4 hit me in the shoulder and the gun, then they go high. One hits the very bottom of my mask, and it pops up, exposing the eye. I cant even think at this moment and he's still shooting. He hit my lip, and right below my eye... I look over at the ref who has is jab dropped...Then he calls me out while asking me if im ok.

The hit on my lip sorta numbed it... I started drolling, then blood came out too...neato!

The hit below my eye scared me for the rest of the day... Wow i was scared.

When i was new I fell out of a tree :) Funny thing is I landed on my own team-mate :o Then I got shot :o

Moral: Dont climb trees.

Dude, that is seriously scary, that's why I always wear my mask really tight. glad to hear you didnt get hurt man

I would say invest in a v-force shield

the drop down throat guard=happy necks and it has a chin strap so your mask doesnt pop up

i got shot in the jaw once, the game was over and i liften up my mask about 1/2 an inch to squeegie my barrel and i was looking down through the bottom of the mask (misty moring so lots of condesation built up on mask), and a guy pops out from behind a tree probly 25 feet away and fired 2 balls, only 1 hit me but it was in the only exposed 1/4 inch of my face, it scared the sh!t out of me. i yelled aat him for about 10 minutes after he appologized i told him it was a good shot.

i got shot in the balls once and got shot in the neck twice..:P

I have a had few close calls.

But I did tear one of the ligiments in one of my disc's in my back while playing paintball. That was way back in December and I still have back problems.

a shot to the throat really sucked for me, i was out for a day
