I am considering getting a Lapco Bigshot if I end up getting a Model 98 Custom. I'd like to get an aluminum b/c of the price, color, and weight. If stainless can provide more accurate shots, however, I could fork over the extra cash and live with the shiny-ness and extra weight. So.... are there any difference between the stainless steel and the aluminum lapco's as far as accuracy is concerned, or other factors? Thanks

Whats wrong with the price, color, weight of the aluminum bigshot? Its lighter, cheaper and I see nothing wrong with a black barrel. On the other hand the SS is going to be heavier (not to much), about $20 bucks more and its a nice shiny chrome color :). There really isnt much difference, but the SS might be a little smoother on the honing (the inside).

no.. I was saying how I liked the color, weight, and price. I was just wondering about how the 2 barrels shot. Do you think the smoother honing could make the stainless a little more accurate? Easier to shoot clean?
