LED blinking question

Hey guys,

When I turn on my Nerve, the led is blinking fast and constant. When I pull the trigger a couple of times, I hear an electronic chirp per pull with no led flash per trigger pull. After that the led blinks slow and constant after I stop pulling the trigger. If I press the led again it begins to flash twice quickly, pause, twice quickly, pause, etc. In this mode I hear something firing and the led blinks everytime I'm pulling trigger. Is this normal? I tried a new 9v alkaline and the marker does the same thing. Thoughts? Thanks.

The Nerve switches on with the eye turned on. This is signaled by the eye flashing rapidly.

Pressing the switch a second time turns the eye off. This is signaled by the "double flash-pause" LED pattern.

I assume that the led won't blink and the solenoid won't fire when I pull the trigger, in vision mode on, unless there's a paintball in the chamber? Thanks for your help Uziel.

That's right, the solenoid will not activate unless the eye sees a ball. The chirp you hear when you pull the trigger is a warning for you that the marker cannot fire.
