So, Brass Eagle owns Viewloader and JT? That would explain why they're still around to make these products everyone calls inferior. Why don't they take a hint from the paintball community and stop making these crappy products? If I were them, I'd look at pbrevew.com and say, "You know what, we suck. Let's fix that, shall we?"

I know this has nothing to do with it but wouldn't it be cool if they had a paintball mononpoly. The little properties would be paintball companys and the railroads would different kinds of angels or cockers. and instead of jail it Would be the dead box. I think that would be cool.

thats an awsome idea, we should all email Parker Brothers and have them make that, and we could promise them that most the people on the boards would get it:nod:

I think BE should have a monopoly on crap. It's not quite a monopoly though, as there's some company that puts out this plastic pump gun for $12 (not the Blade, believe me, I'd rather have the Blade) That and BE made the Rainmaker.

Hmmm....what would Boardwalk be? Dark Angel? Adrenaline?
And the chance cards could be like "Lose to Talon. Pay $500 on that bet you made."

Ha, That's good, how about this

Get out of jail free card could be...
"You wiped so you're not sent to the dead box" something like that

how about " it's a bouncer" for a get out of jail thing. And for the little tax thing that makes you pay 75 dollars, that could be like, " Gun down, pay $75 to get it fixed" Or for like chance cards that are penaltys it could be like, " $500 penelaty for over shooting " or " You won the World cup, gain $1000. And the litttle pieces could be like a paintball splatter or a autococker or the Freak sighn. This would be an awsome game.

"Go" could be like, "You won a tourney, collect $200". Free Parking could be "Winning the World Cup". We should send our ideas to them.

Okay, I've been giving this some thought, and you guys prolly have too. Going around the board and buying up properties is how Monopoly is played. I didn't think it made much sense that if the Boardwalk square was an expensive paintball marker that nobody else could have one. How about if the property squares on the board were represented by field locations? Mounds, pallets, pipes, trees, and Sup Air bunkers. That way, a trip around the board would be a flag capture, and you'd start from your end of the field again.

Oh yes, and there's also the fact that Monopoly (Known as "Monotony" to some...) is about the exact opposite of a fast-paced action-packed team building sport like paintball...

this doesnt really have anything to do with the monopoly thing thats going on but just a thought on the B.E. thing.

Why don't they take a hint from the paintball community and stop making these crappy products? If I were them, I'd look at pbrevew.com and say, "You know what, we suck. Let's fix that, shall we?"

if everyone is really that unhappy with B.E. products then just dont buy them. Im sure the reason they dont "take a hint" is due to the fact that they are marketing their products to a completely different type of customer than you average angel user. B.E is there to get people started in this great sport we are all a part of. Thats what keeps the sport growing. An easy entry point. B.E. products are cheap, but thats the point. Kids can go shopping with their mom one day and just happen to see a marker in wal-mart or the likes and say "hey, ive heard of paintball but never really thought about giving it a try." I wont lie, my first gun was a stingray. At the time i didnt know anything else even existed. Shortly thereafter i found out there was local pro shop and took the gun back a couple days later. But thats not the point. The point is that the guns are made as an entry point into the sport not as the end all, do all marker of the gods. Just keep that in mind every time ya flame em!

I would say that WGP has cornered the high end non-electro semi market. mags are kinda going down and cockers are still going strong, although most of the better cockers arnt made directly by WGP

I can see it now the most expensive property would be:
IR3 Angel Ave

See, just because BE markets to newbies though, doesn't mean they should produce low-quality products. Heck, Kingman markets to newbies and their products are capapble of being used in tournaments (see Bad Company's victory over Avalanche). BE should stick with marketing to newbs, but they should still increase their workmanship, regardless of who they market to.

That's exactly what I intended to say! Thank you Ebonclaw!:D

Additionally, the fact remains that they have the money to improve themselves. They own Viewloader and JT, which are big names in themselves. It's not like they're a tiny faction in the paintball manufacturing game. What reason do they have not to upgrade their quality?

and i wasnt trying to say that their products dont have room for improvment. but people ripping endlessly on a gun that cost $35 and shoots paint is pretty damn ignorant if you ask me. im simply saying that they should be cut a little more slack than the p.b. community is willing to give them. they have created alot of new players who might not have gotten involved in any way with the sport if it werent for them. for that we owe them thanks. the sport needs to keep growing to become more socially acceptable. However, cheap products readily avaliable at your local wal-mart does have its downsides. It makes it incredibly easy for someone to purchase a marker for the purposes of vandalism. not good. i was talking to the local shop owner the other day and he said that anytime ANYTHING around town gets shot he gets a call either blaming him or asking questions he shouldnt have to be answering. He doesnt have the time nor the patience to do so. He shouldnt have to either. so its a double edged sword. Id say it does more good than harm in the end. I guess to sum things up all I was trying to say is that they should be given a little more slack than they are given.

They're our opinions for their taking or leaving. Apparently they don't even listen to us, or the some of us that think they could do better. I still don't see why they can't make their products better. They don't have to charge more. They don't even have to discontinue their low-end guns if they want. I don't "rip" on their guns. In fact, I don't think I've ever actually seen a Brass Eagle product in use. My point was that if there's all this negative feedback, some corporate bigwig or whoever runs things around there, should take note and institute some changes. Something, anything to acknowledge that they pay attention to their products once they're released.
