Are there any other boards for the nerve besides that blackheart board.
Thanks

Any Shocker board will fit the Nerve, so there is a fair amount of choice available: -

The standard settings should be the same as for the stock board - dwell set to 30 chirps, pressure set to 230psi, and adjust the LPR pressure to get the right velocity. If you would prefer to run at a different pressure, you can - you just need to adjust the LPR pressure to compensate.
Getting the best possible efficiency from the marker will be a matter of experimenting with different dwell, LPR and operating pressure settings.
Getting back to the board, firing mode selection will either be down to personal choice, or which mode that you are allowed to use where you are playing.
The rate of fire can then be adjusted, again, either to your own taste, or to meet the rules of the tournament/field where you are playing. Where there are no rate of fire limits set, most people reduce the "rate of fire" adjustment to the minimum, which has the effect of actually maximising the rate of fire - despite the name of the adjustment, it actually controls the length of time between shots, so the lowest setting gives the highest rate of fire.
There is a calculator here to help you set the correct rate of fire: -
http://www.zdspb.com/tech/mguide/shockersft/adj_electronics_nerve.html - rate of fire adjustment is referred to as "re-charge".
I do not know if these are the instructions that you received with your Blackheart board, but they give a suggested, tournament legal, setting for each mode on the board: -
