I'm a fan of specops, and what they're doing for woods/scenario ball. I've placed several orders, and this latest one is causing some concern. Keep in mind, if you haven't ordered from them, and just want to bash them, this isn't the thread for you. I'm looking for replies from others who have dealt with them.
I went online, got the item numbers for the stuff I wanted, then called the order in. (Everything said in stock) A couple items didnt match up with the item #s I had, that was strange. So the next day, I find out my account is
$350 light, so call my bank, I was charged twice. Bonnie at specops argued that I'm not charged til it ships, it's just 2 authorizations. I'm like, it's still unavailable in my account!
Bonnie: I can give you this guys email, he usually handles that stuff.
Me: And by the time I get this info two him, I'll be charged twice I'll bet
Bonnie: Do you want the email?
Me: Can someone just remove the authorization? I mean $350 is $350...
Bonnie: The guy who deals with that dept can
Me: Is he in?
Bonnie: I'll check. No
Me: Can I give you my banks #and you call?
Bonnie: Sorry, the guy who deals with that isnt in
Me: Will he be in today
Bonnie: Yes
Me: Whats his ext, I'll call in a couple hours
Bonnie: I'm not sure when he'll be in
Me: Is he coming in today?
Bonnie: I was told he was
Me: At what time?
Bonnie: I'm not sure if he'll be in today
Me: .... I'm calling my bank. That authorization is coming off today...
So it did, but now my order supposedly shipped, it doesn't exist under order tracking, and the email I got says, "Full or partial order shipped" "Missing tracking #
So it's like I spend $350 at their store, they cant spend .45 on a tracking number...
Anyone else seeing their customer service taking a nose dive? WTF is up with this company all of a sudden?
