I am not a newbie but i love the shocker and i want some ifo on it...

1. Where can i find a turbo shocker, vert feed, 4500/68 maxflow for under 700$$ new? can i ? 650 is my limit but i can sqeeze up to 700 and i really want a turbo board. thanks any sites or stores that i can get an AA pacage basically for this will be good .

2. How is the maintinence, what do u have to do to keep your gun running in tip top shape?

3. I play woods ball , and i have shot the shocker so the size is no problem in fact i liked it. Is it worthy? I mean will it ever brake if i take care of it?

4. Since the Nitro fill place is preety far away. If i buy a 68/4500 max flkow and i run out of air can i just change to somthing like a 20oz Co2 on off anti siphon and just screw it in? or do i have to adjust the max flow or ? can i not do that?

5. Give me all the information u like and silike about the shocker thanks!

Shocker turbo, 68/4500 maxflow, vertical feed, 12 volt rev to match gun color

Thanks so much

Good luck finding a right feed stock new shocker 4x4 for 650$ .... If they still have any I think it's www.actionvillage.com.. They have them for like 400$ brand new. They aren't the new kind though. THey are slightly older ones that were sitting on the shelves. Thats your best change for the money you have.

I hate to say this cause Shocker's are such sweet machines but here goes.

"If you have to ask ANY of those questions, then a Shocker is prolly not the right gun for you."

If i have a preset nitro duck tank and i buy a shocker 4*4 can i just put it right into the max flow without any problems? Is a shocker easy to maintain?

Here is the deal with the reg. If you get a maxflo tank then the reg is built into the tank, therefore; if you take the tank of and just screw in a co2 you will get a broken gun. Reason being that the co2 coming out of the tank will be at 800 psi and it will blow your solinoids (hehmm Shockerdave84 *cough*) So the best bet if you want to be able to do that is to get a shocker with the maxflo on the gun, whether it be vertically mounted or on the base of the 45 grip. Then you can use any tank that is a screw-in, be it a co2 tank or any size of a screw-in nitro tank. Maintenance is a little more extensive then other markers. After each time of serious play you need to do some regreasing. Once you get the hang of this it will only take you 20-30 minutes.

About Breaks, you should never break. The only time you will break is if the paint breaks out the end of the barrel or if you are using crappy paint. I have never broken paint in the breach of my shocker. I have only pinched and that remidy's itself by just pulling the trigger again and then the bolt will reset itself and the ball will fall properly into the breach and fire.

Hope this all helps

so how many shots will i get out of a 68/3000 and a 51/3000 plus a 20oz anti syphon on/off? should it last all day?

2. When people say this marker isnt as efficient as others, what do they mean by? air? I know its not accuracy

3. does the max flow self adjust to regulate or u have to do it manually?

The people who fill my tank do a really crappy job and I get about 500 shots off of a 20oz anti siphon

it uses alot of air to cock recock and fire the gun

more so than like an autococker

you have to adjust the Max-flo
it is the only way to adjust the velocity on your gun, I think.

Hey DasBaldDog...I dont wanna question ur authority Im sure u know more about pball than I...however...just cuz someone needs to ask questions doesnt mean they shouldnt buy the gun.

The most complicated gun to maintain in paintball is prolly the cocker...I think...and there are over 600 sites and posts about cocker maintenance...just cuz someone needs to look those up...doesnt mean they shouldnt get a cocker...it just takes some research

Dude...if you want a shocker...go for it...and ask questions before u do anything risky...dont risk it and screw up ur gun...there are hundreds of people who can help you fix everything...questions are always good and dont ever be ashamed to ask.

Theres my 2 cents...not that anyone cares

Well Movieboy, it's the question of the 96 oz steak. If you MUST ask how much it cost, then you prolly can't afford it. If you have to ask how big it is, then you prolly can't eat it.

My theory is, if you are concerned about air capacity, then a Super LP gun like the Shocker isn't prolly a great idea for you. If you have to ask about cost of upgrades, then a cocker isn't a good idea. Am I making any sense? :)
