I was wondering, will the Nerve will run on anti-siphoned co2 like the Ion?
Will it hurt the solenoid?
How many bps can a Nerve do?
Should I just get an Ion instead?

Thanks.

I was wondering, will the Nerve will run on anti-siphoned co2 like the Ion? Smart Parts do not absolutely forbid the use of A/S CO2 but air/nitrogen is strongly recomended.

Will it hurt the solenoid? As long as no liquid CO2 gets in it should be OK, but there is *always* a chance that CO2 will damage the o-rings in a pneumatic solenoid. Again, air/nitrogen is strongly recommended.

How many bps can a Nerve do? The stock board is capped at 24bps, but the marker is capable of firing faster depending on how it is set up. However, that would obviously require an aftermarket board.

Should I just get an Ion instead? That is a matter of personal preference.

Thanks.

For the price, get the Nerve, and yes it can run off of anti-siphoned Co2. Speed 20bps range stock board, more with aftermarket boards....

Would I have to keep my rof down when I'am using an anti-siphoned co2 tank?

It shouldn't make any difference.

Higher rates of fire are going to cause the tank to cool and lose pressure quicker. In long strings of rapid fire you could freeze the tank solid and lose pressure altogether.

I wish I lived closer to an hpa fill station.
