When did the FS-8 come out?

I thought the fs8 had just been released last thursday, or maybe the thursday before... but anyway.

This website claims to have added the fs8 to their catalog on the 23rd of October, 2005. Did we know about this then? Is this website lying to me?

At any rate, do any of you have it? How is it? I am shooting a tippmann 98 right now, and am in the market for a new (good) gun. Is the fs-8 all it's cracked up to be?

It was released at HB, its a freestyle, that is super efficient for a freestyle, getting 1500 shots off a 68/45, w/ hr2, 1200-1300 with the stock bolt. It is not too expensive, and it shoots fast.

A guy at my field is sponsered by ICD. He was shooting a stubby 70 ci 4500psi tank and he was getting almost a case of paint off of one tank. He had a FS8 at our tournament on March 18, and he said that they weren't out yet. They sent him that one to try out.

They've been out since Mar. 23. A couple of teams got a few earlier in the month but there was nothing back in October.

If it was out in October, I would of been pretty pissed.. I bought my FS7 back in January-February. It couldnt of come out in October. With all the research I did on a new gun, there was no way I would of missed the FS8..

One more question, I didn't think this was worthy of it's own thread, what is the threading for barrels on the fs-8? I'm wondering this because I was thinking of ordering a stiffi barrel for it, would it fit?

FS-8's were given to a professional team(forgot which one) to use before they were released. Now, a couple months later, they were released to the public.

Anyone know where that vid is? All i've been able to find is that vid linked to in the other fs8 thread, and some vids of people shooting it (like 30 secs each, linked to from the review on it.)
