I have the option of buying a 2000 cocker with a boomstick and a nice dropforward for $350 that has only been used for about 3months. A 98 cocker with a boomstick with a rock reg and an ANS frontblock kit for $350. I was also thinking about an electro for about 100 more. I thought that MC Escher would know what to pick. Im also a little partial to the cockers since ive been shot by both of them multiple times:-) They both work fine too.

Well, the cocker 2k with the boomer and d/f is a great combo, just have your proshop look at it and inspect it for small defects and leaks, if they do charge, the cost should be minmal. You'll get one of the best barrels which is a major plus. Once you know that the cocker 2k is all set and has no leaks, i'd say go for it, you'll b e getting a truly awesome gun, that you can customize to your likings.
As for the 98 cocker, the boomer and rock is great, but the ans pneus are no bettter than stock. THe 98 cockerr means the parts have seen some wear and tear and you would be better off getting the cocker 2k. I was offered a nice 98 cocker once, had a good trigger and came with N2 for 350, but it needed a over-haul really bad.
As for going electro, there are many options. I would like to get the new rocker kit, but there are also reflex kits and force 5 cocker out there so you can go electro on your cocker. As for a total electro gun, what were you looking into? The tribals are not so hot and i was advised by my proshop to stay away from shockers.
Just send another reply if you want more info. ,that may help you decide on what to get.

I was probably going to go with the 2K cocker. The guy that is selling it is the proshop owner and a good friend of mine so I don't think he'd screw me over. The only reason why he is selling it is because he wants "his wifes" bushmaster. He really likes the cocker but likes the bushy even more. The team sponsored by my local field is going to spyder cup so they all bought EM1s so he wants an electro now too. I shot the cocker before and it works great. Thanks for the input. I figured if anyone would know it would be you guys.
What kind of upgrades should i consider besides running it on N2 such as pneumatic kits and so on.?

well, as for upgrades, here what i recommend--
Barrel- get a new barrel. my first cocker barrel was the dye excell (but you have the boomer so no probs there). It worked just great for me.
Trigger group- Then id go for a new trigger group such as a new 45 frame like dye or p&p benchmark. Then get new springs and a shocktech bomb 4 way trigger, sear....
Front block, palmer or shocktech pneus....
Then you upgrade things like the hammer, bolt and other stuff.
