angled bottom line adapter

what is the point of this? to keep the liquid at the bottom of the bottle so it doesn't go into the gun? the alternative to running a anti-siphon tube?

i have something kinda similar to that, but it just looks like a wedge, not like a cylender with a play, i use it with my drop forward to make my gun shorter(the co2 doesn't stick out as far) and it can go underneath your arm too

Probably just to make the gun more comfortable, mine is angled on my Spyder, and if you look at it, with a full tank the pin valve would still be below the "water line or CO2 line rather" and liquid would probably still get in the gun
