Aftermarket means any barrel that is made by any company that isn't part of the stock equipment. It usually will be better performing that the barrrel it replaces. Say you have a Spyder with a stock barrel. You want to buy a CP 1-piece barrel. The CP is the aftermarket barrel.
Edit: Typed too long. Shadow covered it in summary.

Basically anything that you change on the gun from when you bought it, would be an aftermarket piece. If you change the grip from your gun then that would be considered another aftermarket piece. An upgrade!

Aftermarket is any part produced for a product from one company, by another company. Like the Dye Sticky Grips. Dye makes those for a ton of other companie's markers. Those are aftermarket grips, except when Dye sells them stock on their own guns.
Or companies that sell parts for game decks- like controllers or memory modules. Those would be aftermarket products.
Aftermarket does NOT always mean better or upgrade. It is just an alternative to the product that the original manufacturer produced.
For example...the automotive industry. Lets say...car body parts. You can find a lot of aftermarket hoods, fenders, bumper covers, floorpans, etc. Some of them are great, and cost less than you could get them from say...ford, gm, whoever. Some are Not so great, made from cheaper plastics or metals; and crack soon, or rust out faster, whatever.
