I got a Spyder Imagine (either 03 or 04) used. but something on the bottom line is puzzelling me. on the part that attaches to the triger handle, theres a nut that looks like its supose to move. I looked at one of the videos, and it showed a guy un screwing it (the blue line in the picture), and it just roated around the hose (red line), and it came off the rest of the gun (green line). is this right? because on mine, it dosnt want to twist. is it just stuck? or am I doing something wrong? I'm afraid put too much force on it, as I already messed up one hose (had someone send me a new one) by doing the same thing.

you have to unscrew the asa, where the tank is put in. And then turn the asa, its really tough to do.

I have it unscrewed, but its at a 90 degree angle to where it should be.

ok, I got it now. its just really tight. would WD-40, or some other type of oil fix it?

WD-40 should help, but you don't want to be able to unscrew easily
Easily unscrewable=possible leaks

ok, the WD-40 did wonders for it. it just takes a little force now to unscrew it.

altho now I just ran into another problem. I relized on my old bottom line, one end was meteric, and the other wasnt. on the new bottom line I got, neither are meteric. I'm going to just replace the adapter on it, but before I do, does the meteric end attach to the ASA meteric or not? I think I messed up the threading a tad on the very first part of it but I cant tell.

nvm, I think I got it now.

argggggg, I can not get it to go on all the way. I am doing it right; the meteric end attaching to the ASA? and the other end attaching to the hose? either way, its not really fiting on very well...

can someone at least help me out, and tell me if I'm trying to screw it in right? I'm attaching the meteric end to the ASA where you screw the bottle onto, and its not wanting to go on all the way. I'm screwing the normal end onto the hose, but once again its not going on.

the adapter that came with it fits on it fine, but when I try and screw on the adapter that has the exact same threading, it dosnt want to go on . on either end I always have a gap. and all I end up doing everytime I put it on is stripping the threading on it.

Can you post some pics? You said a gap...so the hose screws on the adapter? Does the adapter screw into the asa ok?

I'll post some pictures soon as I can. but right now, just by lightly screwing them on, theres a 2 or 3mm gap between the hose and the adapter, and a 4 or 5mm gap between the ASA and the adapter. the part of the the adapter that screws onto the hose got striped a little bit, and the first 3mm or so into the ASA is striped a bit too.

the guy that I got the hose from said it came off a spyder imagine.

you think I can just get a new adapter, and everything will work; or should I get a new ASA too?

do you think the warranty will cover that? I just rememberd that my imagine (used) came with a 30 day warranty.
