how do you figure a stock ion is worth $400+? I can buy a new one for $199 at action village, even a highly upped ion isnt worth $400. And yes a bko is worth buying if you can find one at the right price, you would be better off saving and buying a promaster or finding a nice b2k4 pds on ebay.

Well I'm just gonna say something, I don't believe that 04 BKO's now are worth buying unless you get a really good deal. I personally would take a BKO with PDS over a stock Ion, but unless you're getting a good deal on a BKO with PDS and/or other upgrades, you might as well get an Ion.

a revy could do it, they can do about 13-14bps, but id see if you can get a halo

I absolutely would not trust a Revy to keep up with a BKO. they dont feed 13-14bps, or at least not consistently. great for mech cockers, but on a BKO you would need to be very frugal with the trigger.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust a Revvy to keep up with a BKO. An Egg feeds it fine, or even better....a Halo.

^^ wrong. ions quality is crap, ever seen the noid? the coil are exposed and it can go wrong at anytime. they are great quality, but if only SP thought longer of their design and had better minds. (think about it they used impulse noids on their shockers, instead of making new blueprints they based its capabilites on imps solenoid), unlike good solenoid, the coil is cased inside the plastic casing. if you guys never seen whats inside a "good" solenoid like the bkos for instance, there is also a coil their, but the ions are exposed. 200 is the price of its worth. http://scenariodreams.com/images/ion_tboard.jpg

^^^^^ wrong, i've had an ion for 2 years and its never given me ne trouble. people are not careful when they clean it out and they pull too hard on the parts and they end up breaking it. some ppl r just retarted when it comes to dealing with delicate parts.

The Ion DESIGN is good. The Ion fit, finish, materials, etc are sheer crap. Ask me, ask anyone that has to tech the silly things how they are built. the metal SP used looks like foam rubber it has so many void in it. The fittings are mainly plastic. The noid is expsoed and in no way weatherproofed. it's an entry level hunk of junk.

If you find a bko for a reasonable price, pick it up. You may have issues with it, but they are easily fixed, and it will last much longer than SP's Ion.

autopballer05, I think it is a good idea. I am also thinking about getting a bko. I already did research and downloaded the manual. To me it looks good. Go for it.

I've had a B2K for a year now and never had a problem that wasnt solved by a replaced battery. They shoot well, they're accurate and they are fast. BKO is based on the same design but without the eyes. Between an ion and BKO I don't think you can go wrong. Ion does have some advantages on ions though. Because the ion is product that is current, you don't have to buy them used and can therefore get a warrenty on them whereas the BKO is out of production

get a BKO i was thinking about getting an ion then i went up to my local pb store and they felt really cheap so iwent with a B2k4 and its awesome havent had ne problems with it yet

get a B2K4, it isn't capped at 18 BPS like a BKO is, also a B2K4 is a gun that you can use in tourny's and hold your own aginst shockers and all those other guns. a BKO can, its just not as nice...iono you can get a B2K4 for more money but its worth it. But a BKO is still nice so eather way its a ICD gun meaning its the best!
