I'm getting my Smart Parts Ion tomm :D and i am playing on Friday, BUT I do not have HPA, nor a a/s co2. So my last resort is getting a remote cord thing. I have never used one.. i think they would get in the way, and tangle in stuff, but what are YOUR guy's thoughts on them?

get HPA ASAP

if you have to use a remote make sure you don't lay down, or shoot really fast for a long time

see if the field you are going to allows you to rent HPA tanks. i know the ones in my area will let you rent them

well i haven't used a remote but i have seen people use them. they just got in their way. so it might be worth it to make that drive.

buy an HPA tank. and in the future get a scuba tank so you can fill your tank a couple times before having to make the 45 minute drive again

Wow! Thats is about as bad as mine too.... well you might just have to suck it up and do the drive..... not to be mean or a wiseguy..... buying a fill station is too expensive.... check on this site for the closest field and see when they are open then go get your tank filled there.

A remote will act as an antisiphoned tube only as long as the tank is held vertical in your pack or whereever your holding it. But once you lay down or the tank becomes horizontal, than liquid co2 will get in the gun and your noid will go to hell.

My thoughts. Simply don't play until you have A/S or HPA. IMO it's not worth it if something were to happen to your solenoid.
