anyone played at Splatball, Inc.? I'm just wondering what you guys think of the feild and staff...i'm looking for a good feild to become a member at (To save some cash!)
I live kind of by shakopee...our homemade feild got shut down, and now i am forced to play at expensive feilds! it sounds like a whole lot more fun with more people and refs and all...

oh yeah, and paint prices... they sell rps bigball for $50 a case... this sounds like a good deal if you take into consideration the shop in burnsville sells the same thing for $70+ and i think their stuff is super old... i used to order marbs off the comp for $60 a case... so this member stuff sounds like a good deal...
*SO ALL IN ALL COULD YOU GUYS COMPARE PRICES AND QUALITY FOR FEILDS IN THE SOUTHERN BURBS OF MINNESOTA?

As far as I can remember they only let members bring non field paint to their field. Otherwise their field paint is like $120 a case last time I checked at their indoor field. A better alternative would be to play at farmland paintball club. www.farmlandpaintballclub.com they have 2 fields, in 2 different locations and its pretty inexpencive to play there. $4 field fee for non members and $2 for members. It costs $15 to become a member for life. Also they sell paint at I belive $63 dollars a case for a case of Premium, however if you think its too much thats ok because farmland is a bring your own paint field. So if you can find cheper paint else where you are free to use it at no extra charge. Assuming that you have all your own equiptment, and are a member it's quite possible to play a day of paintball for only $2. Check the message board for more info.

They have to fields one is in New Prague, the other is in Young america, if you live by Shakoppe you should not have any problems getting to either of the fields. As for when they will open, my guess is some time when the snow melts and no more falls. I belive last year the we started playing sometime in the second part of April. However if the weather is nice the field may open as early as end of March, it all depends on the weather. You should check the message board there, and I think a new schedule will be posted soon. As for you other question about how many people play there? Currently the club has somewhere around 130 members, and on an average day we can get about 30-40 people to show up and play. Game day is usually every Saturday or Sunday once the schedule for the season is up it will become more clear. Check the message board for the latest announcements.
