Unscrew the LPR knob and remove the spring. You should see that the inside of the LPR has been cut in to a hex shape. Use a 5/16" Allen key to unscrew the front of the LPR.
Depending how tight the parts are screwed, the whole LPR assembly may come out (LPR and extender). If not you may find that the LPR unscrews, but the extender is left behind.
If this occurs, pull the extender cover (silver part) off of the extender housing, and then use a wrench to unscrew the housing from the front of the marker.
If the whole assembly cam off in one piece, you can then remove the extender cover from the assembly, and unscrew the LPR and extender housing to get to the internal parts of the LPR.
