so i've had my 98 custom for about 2 years and ive gone through about a billion setups.... but ive finally started putting it together the best way i know how to suit the way i play..... so heres what i have so far:

GTA Response Trigger
16" J&J Ceramic Barrel
32* Degrees 6-Stage X-Chamber w/macro line
CMI EC Drop Forward w/gauge
DOP Rocket Cocker II
GTA Cyclone Feed

what else should i do.... maybe something internal like a Rufus Dawg bolt..... or an RVA...... i just dont know... i kind of want to do more ups on this gun but i think it maybe i want to get another gun like an ion or somthing different .... just to switch things up.... but anyhow id appriciate some comments on what anyone thinks... anything helps

Completely upped? Not even close!

Now that the basic modding is complete, the ghetto modding must begin! Model98.org (http://model98.org/) look around and apply.

HPA should definitely be on your 'to do' list. New internals will have little, if any, positive effect, and may actually HARM performance generally they are to be avoided. You're gun will not fit an E-grip without some internal mods.

I am in the same boat you are, getting close to what seems to be the end, at least in my mind. I am going to start looking into HPA (once i get my "poor college kid" huge tax refund), as most people agree that it is the best thing you can do to help consistency. Internally, the stock parts are fine, but have you polished your internals? That can help a bit, and putting a sweet custom paintjob is always fun and helps your marker stand out amongst the crowd! Get creative, or start all over again.

yeah thanks for all the advice ... i think ill go with polishing the internals to start and then maybe do a paint job ... maybe.. i dont know ... i kind of like it just plain black like it is.... but im definately gonna do the hopper wobble fix... haha.. i cant believe an oring will fix that... how genius is that

Hopper wobble fix = One of my favorite ghetto mods.

I'd also advise you to try quick strip if you can bring yourself to do it.

i need to know about more of these ghetto mods people..... i try and read as many forums and reviews as i can .... that Model98.org is a sweet site... im glad i found out about it.... i just did the hopper wobble fix... and as soon as i can get my hands on some of that good polish ... ill do the internals.... but other than that i dont know if i want to do much more to it... i dont want to mod my tippmann beyond recognition you know what im sayin... im not into milling off parts and whatnot... that seems a bit much to me.... the quick strip kit sounds like a good investment.... but i have the rocket cock II and i wonder if those rear screws will work with that.... just more comments is all im looking for... any advice is appriciated ... you guys have helped alot already

I quick stripped mine diagonally through the screw in front of the safety, works great and easy to do. Has no ill effects on anything else in the gun.

Well Mr. Anderson, i think that you should get some DYE sticky grips, a sweet red tribal paintjob, some sweet hopper decals, a tank cover, and a third player for our TEAM!!!!!!!!! that would be nice.
