Same principal as spyder ACS. I don't think it is possible unless the actually ACT is dammaged or something.

I've seen spyders with ACS bolts still chop, especially when outshooting a gravity-fed hopper. If ACT is like ACS it probably prevents many chops but not as many as an eye would. I rarely have chops in my non-ACT 98c so I probably wouldn't even be able to tell the difference if I was given an ACT 98c.

(from paintballonline.com)NEW! Tippmann's Anti-Chop Technology is a complete new system consisting of a rear bolt, front bolt and linkage arm with movements that are dictated by the location of a paintball in the chamber prior to firing. If a paintball is fed correctly, the system's front bolt and rear bolt travel together - connected by the linkage arm - to fire the ball. However, if a ball is lodged inside the chamber incorrectly, the front bolt will stop moving forward as soon as it makes the slightest contact with the lodged ball. The rear bolt continues moving forward, but is momentarily disconnected from the linkage arm until it hits the marker's air valve. Upon reaching the air valve, the rear bolt is quickly forced back as it reconnects to the linkage arm, which pulls the front bolt back into firing position. While the two bolts are traveling back together, the lodged ball falls into position and the marker then cycles itself to discharge the ball at normal velocity.

I've messed around with some act tippys in the past few days at my shop. The system Tippmann engineered is superior to the kingman design due to the weaker spring backing the system. After fiddling with it, and TRYING to get it to break balls, i could not get it to do so, not even with the most brittle balls i could find. It is extremely effective ACT.

Paintfreak from m98 and to.com bought one of the act custom pros and it still choped, and by the looks of it, it choped more than my vert feed custom pro. The system may need to be broken in but I am still haven't been convenced that the the new 06 CP are better that the 05 CPs.

He may have had one of the first run of the ACT guns. They switched to a lighter linkage arm spring, which thus made the system more effective.
