Veggie oil is ok but should only be used if you run out of gun oil. if you can't find any pbgun oil go to a local hardware store and ask for some pneumatic tool oil

Vegatable oil? Err...ok, I would just use what Tippmann says - Hoppes 9, or any gun oil that does NOT contain solvents, keep WD-40 and other corrosive/caustic cleaner out of your gun!

There is a can of small electric motor lub oil you can use.. its simply called "three in one" oil.. comes in a small squarish can with a red spout. its clear and works really really well.. its thick enough to keep things nice and slick, and wont run away.. a can will also last you like a year for 5 bux =o)

never use vegtable oil because over time it will gum up and turn into whats called a varnish which is hard to get off and will jam up your parts

I like RemOil, made by Remmington. It has a Teflon additive so it reduces friction even more. All-in-all, prolly similar to the Hoppes #9, but I'm sticking w/ the RemOil.
