Hey, unfortunately I stripped one of the hex screws on my gun, and now the allen wrench wont catch the sides to get it out. Anyone have any suggestions how i could get it out? Thanks

one of my buddies put epoxy in the hex hole, and bonded a nail into the hole. once it was hardened, he used a pair of pliers to turn the hex bolt out...
You COULD try that i suppose... but be carefull you dont put epoxy into the well surrounding the bolt.... or else your gun will never come apart again. ever.
You're obviously gonna have to replace the screw once you DO get it out.

I dunno man, i wouldn't reccomend doing this epoxy trick unless you have a really steady hand. one little slip, and you've "screwed the pooch".

Use my idea as plan "c".

this also happened to me.

you can try the above method, but if the screw sticks out a bit; take a dremel tool to it and cut a slot in it and use a flatheaded screwdriver to get it out.

ps: i used that second mthod works real well, if dremel is not available use hacksaw

Craftsman makes a "screw out" kit that you can get at any Sears store. This thing is a life saver. It's basically a screwdriver set with different bits for removing stripped screws of varying types: straight, phillips, torx, allen, etc. The kit costs about 20 bucks or so, but it's the best money you'll ever spend. You'll use it for everything, not just paintball.

if you use the proper key in the first place and dont reef on the screw you should never strip it in the first place =o)

But what can you do :D
