I'm getting a female Palmer Stab to replace my ASA.(with either an anti-siphon or remote) So I think having the Tippman Expansion Kit will be an overkill, but I like the looks of the foregrip in the kit. Is there another grip that looks exactly like it, or should I buy the kit and not use the rest of the equipment included?

There is a DOP front grip and another rubber front grip if I'm not mistaken. However neither is necessary and the money could be better spent elsewhere IMO. I would stick with the stock grip.

Ive seen both the DOP and Lapco Grip, I was just wandering if I missed any that looked more like the tippman X-cham grip. I know replacing the front grip isnt going to be entirely necessary. I'm replacing it more for looks.
I think the main difference bettween the x-cham grip and the two that I've seen is the x-cham grip has an angled bottom, which just looks like it belongs on the gun.
I appreciate the help.

Assuming you're running CO2, don't get an expansion chamber, it will negate the effects of regulating the CO2. The gas we re-expand basically causing it to deregulate.

He wont be installing the tombstone that redirects the co2, just the expansion chamber as a grip...except that wont work.
The tombstone (vertical adapter) that you don't want to buy nor install actually is the part that the expansion chamber screws onto, which makes it the front grip.
Te "grip part" (which is the expansion chamber)hangs just below the metal clamshell join forthe foegrip...the only thing holding it on is the vetical adapter that you wont be using, due to the reg.
I'll find an illistration, because I'm half-assing this description.

Ok, here is a quick illustration
1 is the vertical adapter, which is up in the marker (a5/98 same)
2 is the xchamber which acts as forgrip

You cant use just the xpansion chamber as a forgrip, without the vetical adapter present to screw it into...which would block the access for the reg to the bolt.

You will have to find a foregrip thats close, because you will be throwing money away if you try to use the expansion chamber without the vertical adapter.

but if you want an x chamber put it before the reg or it will prettuy much cancle out the reg
stick with anti-siphon and reg
if you want another grip get that rubber one that is in the reviews or fing a gass through

I apologize, I forgot to say I have a custom 98.
Ultranoob:Thanks for the illustration. Based on other pictures Ive seen I thought the grip was just placed in the gun like the stock grip, now I see how it screws onto the adapter.
So, I just have to find a grip that looks close.
Thanks for the help
