Lots of people say vert feed is great on phantoms. Wouldn't vert feed just get in the way of aiming or any hope of putting on a sight. Also its not like your going to be shooting so fast you have to have VF. It seems to ruin the point of accuracy and all that stuff a phantom is good for. Someone please explain

BALANCE. With a light gun, the balance is critical with the CF

maybe balance, but still what good is balance when you can't aim?

I personally can't do this but several people I know can aim down the side of their barrels. Like I said, I suck at it, but many of these people can shoot very well without looking straight down the barrel.

If you are into sights, I think Armson makes a site that can be used with the CF. The only downsides are the site requires both eyes and it will decrease the effectivness of your snapshot considerably.

Well I have a vert feed on my phantom. I like it because it balances the gun and makes aiming easier. I aim down the barrel using the vert feed port as my aiming point. I line that up on whom I want to shot and pull the trigger. I think it is actually faster being able to aim using that vert feed port the any other way.

I may have to invest in a CF and try some things with it. I have never owned one myself, just borrowed others.
