I am a noob and I have trouble with walking the trigger. I am able to use my middle finger quickly but my index barely moves. Does anyone else have this problem? How to correct it?

practice is your only way to really get faster.i know when i started my left hand was faster than my right...after practicing with my right, my right is almost as fast as my left(minus like 1-3bps).

Well, make sure you take the trigger spring out. It also helps to practice with the tank on the gun.

Yep thats true, its called bounce which enables your gun to shoot a couple BPS more than normal. Just make sure that you put it in before a day of play.

I had the same problem w/ the fingers, thingy. Practice.
AS for the spring, what if you install a new trigger and you're not supposd to put the spring back in? Would that disqualify you?

It depends, I'll have to look it up but I'm to lazy to do it right now.

i was thinking about that too, i think you're still fine...my DM5 uses a spring on the stock trigger, but when i installed the CP trigger i had to take it out.Now it basically runs on the magnets and bearings. But usually the boards today will have a debounce setting.

If you take out the spring the gun will still fire? better?

yeah it'll still fire...it'll bounce the trigger adding more shots.usually you'll get kicked out of a tourney for it so i advise putting it back in if your trigger uses a spring.

what is the use of it?

the spring is used to push the trigger back and forth...the spring adds too much tension when pulling on it thats why ppl take it out, so it'll return faster and pull faster.
like i said before, my DM5 stock trigger uses a spring, didn't like it.bought a CP Roller and now im rippin

my friend yesterday showed me how he shoots his paintball gun. He shoots with his middle and ring finger. Does anyone shoot like that it seemed to work better.

Ive never seen that...
I can walk a trigger faster with my left hand (I'm right handed), but i think thats becuase i play guitar....
Best advise for you is to practice. Start slow and get an even rythm, get the timing down perfect. In fact use a metronome. then increase the speed until you cant go faster.
Also the most important part of being able to walk a trigger is holding the gun comfortably. If your in an odd position then your going to add unecessary stress to your arm, hand, fingers, etc.
hope I helped! :D

maybe his middle and ring finger are just faster and hve a more consistant rate of walking the trigger.
and chopping shouldn't be a problem unless u have an eye system.if you're using a low end marker with an acs bolt like a spyder, chances you will chop.eye systems are better though because it wont fire without seeing somethhing in the breech.an eye system along with a force fed hopper will slim the chance to very little or no chopping at all.

one more "removing parts in a trigger " question, if i take the magnet out of the ion stock trigger, however it does not bounce and continously fire, is that legal?

to get better i just went around for an amount of time tapping my fingers on anything, pencils, keys, desk etc. Be creative.

I've seen the middle/ring finger technique. Like whoever said it before it all depends on comfort. I'm ambidextrous so I can walk the trigger just as well w/ my left as my right.

its all on you...everyone has their ways...some ppl do the conventional index/middle, some do index/middle/ring, some do index/ring, etc...

Taking out the spring im your trigger would only work on electro and not mechanical guns right?

You can in a mech but you'd have to put new one in, that is just how they work. i.e. Penspring mod for the Tippmann triggers(98, A5)

Thinking about how the spyder triggers work, and how i took out the spring in mine, i think it would be turney legal. The stock 250g switch will not bounce, i swear. i actually bounced more often with my spring in  . Anyways, for the first half of the school year i tapped everything i could see, and people stared, thats when i flipped them off. All in all (i know it sounds like a school report, but what the hey) just practice, and possibly take out ur spring.

rubber bands? how?
gives resistance when u try to walk, therefore strengthening them.thick of the rubberbands as weights when you lift.
