cocker, ion, omen or upgrade my spyder imagine?? help

I have a 2k3 spyder imagine with 12 in barrel everything else is stock.... should i sell my spyder and get a new gun (for tournament play, speedball,x-ball) or upgrade my spyder to the max?? if i do get a new gun i was thinking ion, omen 2.0 or a trilogy cocker... upgrades i would prob get for spyder would be delrin bolt t-board, freak jr barrel, drop forward, with bob long reg, new trigger, and maybe new volumizer.... new gun or upgraded spyder?

Yea, the ion would be better than the upgrades.

Ion or get the Trilogy and E-blade it (yes, it is possible with a little thing from Planet Eclipse)

But to save money and because it would work better, go for the Ion

A Ion is better if you have the money get the Ion it will probably be better stock than you spyder Imagine. GET IT

thx ... that is what i will do .... i also have a 98c so i will prob sell both (98c and spyder) and get ion with a good hopper and hpa tank ... thx for all the help .... sounds like the ion is a gun that you either love or hate so... hope i love it...

You're in the exact same situation I was in a few months ago - and believe me you made a good choice. Yes, everyone has them, and yes, you'll get "stuff" from all the "people who can beat me up" around with Timmies and Ego's.

Look at it this way. Ollie Lang (former star player of Dynasty San Diego) uses an Ion (modified to say the least, but hell). If that doesn't make you proud:
You'll never break paint like the imagine, and you're getting it for $100 less than what I (and every other parent-funded must-have-it-now "kid") bought it for.

i agree. i used to shoot an imagine and went out on a limb and bought an ion. its an awesome gun i dont care what everyone says about them. theyre only mad they paid 500 dollars more lol. dont get me wrong they arent the most life changing thing that has ever come into paintball but you DEFINATELY cant beat the price on them. they shoot mad fast and you never chop. you can also get the tboard for it and you dont have to drill the crap outta your gun. so ION FTW!!

ollie didn't shoot a modified ion, he shot the dynasty shocker.im sure he had hte ion as a backup somewhere or another shocker.

and no he doesn't shoot an ego...ego is made from eclipse and ironmen aren't sponsered by them.ironmen are sponsered by Dye.ollie shoots a dm6 w/virtue chip.xsv is the one that shoots egos

Yea, XSV shoots egos so do the bushwackers, and the ironmen shoot DM6's.

now i need to know if i get an ion what kind of upgrades would i need for better speedball play??? dont really want to go over $350 total...so about 150 for ups...


new barrel and a elctric hopper... ?? what else is a good quick upgrade to have a decent ion??
