What is the best place to buy shocker batteries. I want to buy like five batteries. Please give me the website where you buy them.

Why don't you buy a nine volt adaptor for like 10 bucks instead of buying shocker batteries at 20 bucks a piece.

Thats what I got....9 volt adapter...so convienent..especially since you cant get smart parts batteries at gas stations.

Gosh, why did you spend money on the conversion. goto radioshack get like the bag of five 9v adapters for like a buck (they don't just sell one) and cut the orignal and soder that in its place?

Much easier and cheap, plus all those extra 9v's found come in handey........ warp feed 18v mod! (not joking)

Everyone I talked to at my paintball field told me not to get that because it will fry the board or something and void your warranty.

Well they are somewhat correct. A nine volt battery obviously sends out 9v. The shocker board is designed to use 7.2 volts. So using a full 9v battery will fry the board. If you get the 9v adaptor, just use the batteries from your rev hopper that have been in there for a while. Then you will be fine.

Wow, I've never had a problem. Thing is, if that were the case then the 9v adapters would need something to step down the voltage to match, and there isn't anything on their to do it.

Thats exactly why I just wanna get smart parts batteries. I would rather not take chances and possibly fry the board. :

So where do you get a shocker battery for cheap? And how do you charge them? Movieboy007@aol.com

You don't charge smartparts batteries. They are a one shot deal.

how long would a 9v last

Well the shocker battery lasts about 40,000-60,000 trigger pulls. The nine volt will do relatively the same. I used a nine volt for about 8 months before I changed it and I played with my marker as home as well just pulling the trigger. Either way you should be fine.
