does the phantom's velocity tend to lower itself after a while. also, how could you prevent this from happening?

If it's running on 12 grams then it will lower as the catrige losses gas.

so if I'm using my 16oz or my 9oz, the velocity wont lower itself?

I don't know co2 is pretty inconsistent. It would be more consistent than 12 grams though.

actually, I'm asking if the velocity set screw loosens by itself, therefore lowering the velocity. do you know if this is true or not

it can, since the nylock screw will wear itself down over time, or if your gun is an older one w/o the threaded hole

I shoot mine on air...
I dialed it in real good about 2000 rounds ago. Ever since it has shot about 275 over the chrono.
