I'm getting back into paintball and I was just wondering what everyone thought about Titanium Longbow barrel or the Sly dual-carbon barrel. Back when I used to play the Longbow was one of the best barrels. So many have come out since then. So just give some opinions or information on what you think and/or know about them. Any information is appreciated...and thanks in advance

They still are good barrels, just freaking expensive! Basically a quality barrel from CP, Dye or any other large name company will be on par with each other. People will be telling you brand X is better than brand Y because they happen to own X and want to think they made the correct choice. However, if you want a tried and true barrel, the best one for a reasonable price is the Stiffi.

even though it's control bore is 1" or so long?IF you have an open bolt gun you can buy a single sized bore. A closed bolt gun will need a back that matches the size of the paint so that it doesn't roll down the barrel, in that case 1" is that is needed.

Intriguing, so if i were to get a, lets say, .696 barrel, and the paint i used that day was avg .688. the only thing it would do is hurt my effeciency? or would it also slightly effect accuracy? i remember reading stuff like balls bouncing around in a barrel, but that seems...hard to believe. after this question, i think i'll be straight.
*edit* except for...my local shop is out of stiffi's they're trying to get in the new mamba ones. anyone know a good site to get them from? if not, no biggie
